The Tróia/Comporta area is famous for its beaches of enormous quality and for the mild climate during several seasons of the year. The white sandy beaches and a blue sea, give it a paradisiacal aspect. The coastal stretch of Troia/Comporta is quietly developing a reputation as Portugal's chicest resort. The Comporta area has been compared to Ibiza as before the crowds arrived, where exclusive beach bars and hotels are slowly converging. It has also been compared to an undiscovered St. Tropez, but the comparison matches the no-compromise vibe of the Comporta village, back to nature. Although the houses in the Comporta area are by the sea, you can't see it with the high Dunes and few beach accesses, which makes this particular house an exception to the rule, with its direct access to an exclusive beach, via a walkway

Three years ago, decorator Fernando Droghetti opened the fashionable restaurant in Trancoso, Bahia - a place frequented by the Brazilian jet set - the Jacaré do Brasil. In Comporta, he opened his other Jacaré in June, one of the great novelties of Rua do Secador, with a decoration in which the two regions intersect.

The Restaurante Museu do Arroz is located in the middle of the Sado Natural Reserve, where once there was a Rice husking factory. A project genuinely created, with the concept of the best we have to offer of local gastronomy.
