Avenidas Novas is considered one of the noblest residential areas of Lisbon, and one of the most sought after locations for its diversity of traditional commerce, access to all kinds of transport, its flat streets, wide sidewalks and bike lanes. It is also one of the city's strategic business centers, and where universities, hospitals, embassies, museums and performance halls are located. In this area we find the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, the El Corte Inglês shopping center, great restaurants, supermarkets, pharmacies and all kinds of traditional commerce. Next to the El Corte Inglês is also the garden of the Parque Eduardo VII. In Parque Eduardo VII we can visit the Estufa Fria, the Jardim Amália Rodrigues and the Parque Eduardo VII viewpoint.
